This is where I take my BMW for routine maintenance and repairs since 2003. They are passionate about BMW's, Quality and Pride of workmanship, extremely knowledgable and they take the time for one on one personal service - they listen and advise. I've been test driving new cars to replace my 1996 328i. Long story short, I decided to keep my BMW and had Jon Paul and Earl assess and repair / restore it. LOVE the results - inside and out! When I drove away from their shop it reminded me of the day I bought my car from the showroom. NEW. Very Happy and will continue to bring my car to them for service for years to come.

Best BMW shop in Tucson. The only people I want working on my 550i. I have had all of my service and repair here since the warranty ran out. They also did the paint and body work when I got rear ended on Sunrise and Swan. Beautiful paint, I can not tell It was ever re-painted. They clean my car for FREE every time I go in for anything. It looks better than some detail jobs I have paid for!

Best BMW shop anywhere! I've been taking my cars ('01 M Roadster, my daughter's '03 330i, '06 M3 Coupe) to JP and his guys since '06. Professional, courtious, and best of all they keep my cars running strong and fast. My daughter & I appreciate that she can stop by the shop or call for help if she has an issue with her (really my) car and they are always responsive and helpful. The Dinan tuning they've done on my M cars has been awesome! Nothing worthwhile is ever inexpensive but they beat the dealership every time and the Dinan work is worth every penny in performance. I highly recommend this shop to any BMW owner and every BMW enthusiast (get them to tune you up with some Dinan candy!)

We have stopped taking our 2001 7-series to Independent BMW. They charge about the same amount as the dealership in Tucson for routine maintenance. For that matter, replacing the thermostat and sending unit and a radiator flush/fill in Oct '10 was almost exactly the same price.

Independent has failed to make several minor repairs on our car. For instance... $100 to fix a broken glove box latch that STILL doesn't work. We cannot open it at all. I don't know what the difference is in the factors involved in other people's repair experiences, but ours has not been great.

I have used Independent BMW service for both my wife's X3 and my 2007 335i since it came out of warranty. For the last three years the service has always been great and they seem to be the only shop besides BMW of Tucson that knows about the cars. I have been very pleased with the prices and the attitude of the owner and employees. I have always used the dealer till now although my wife tried one other shop in Tucson and they misdiagnosed her car. The cost is much less than the BMW dealer. We won't go any where else to have work done on our BMW

I went to Independent BMW service when I bought my first BMW. It was a low milage classic 6 series. The previous owner had given the owner (Jon-Paul DeVore) of Independent rave reviews. I stopped in and was enamored with all the different BMWs that were in the shop. I saw a lot of seemingly brand new cars and also cars from the 70s and 80s that seemed to be in showroom condition. I soon realized the reason for the condition of the cars here. This shop does everything. They will get any part for any BMW and install it. I never got told I had to go to the dealer! I had them do an assessment of the 6 and estimate making the car new. I accepted the estimate and work commenced. I asked Jon-Paul the owner to guide me in bringing the car up to par without doing anything that would not be period correct.

The 6 was completed and exceeded any expectations I had. It felt and drove like a new car. No rattles, wind noise or diappointments. It was upgraded with some newer BMW wheels, a m5 differential, Dinan suspension and software and an incredable sound system that was virtually invisable in the car.

I will own this car forever. I then purchased a 2002 M5. I brought it in even before money changed hands to have an inspection. The car was in good health. I had Independent install a Dinan exhaust, intake system, diff, and software. WOW this car is fast now. I have had all the services and repairs need performed here and then car is great. I just completed a road trip to and from the Hamptons. Not so much as a sneeze from the car. I have since bought a european version of the e21 323is from a couple in Phoenix AZ. This thing is so much fun to drive with the mechanically injected six cylinder engine. I thought for sure the guys at Independent would be stumped on this car after three other shops in Phoenix did not know what it was. JP and his crew knew just what to do with the euro. It was running tip top in no time and they were able to find new a new old stock complete exhaust which it desperatly needed. They repaired the Recaro upolstry. This included a complete recover of the rear seat. It matched the front perfect. The shop also overhauled the complete a/c system which now is adequate in the summer heat. All the research I did said this was not possible on this model of BMW. I had Independent BMW do a total repaint in the original silver. It looks great and like it has factory paint! I have since bought two other BMWs one a 88 535is and a 2005 745. The 535 went through a lite restoration at the hands of Independents most experienced tech and perfroms like a new car. I have had the 745 at two dealers while under warranty. I soon found that the only place outside of BMW Tucson or The guys in Phoenix that could work on a new BMW was (of course Independent). I had an issue with the transmission control system in Phoenix and could not get in at the dealer for two weeks! I called around and every shop I spoke to said they did have the necessary computer diagnostic system to perfrom diagnostics or software updating on my car. I beleieve it is a Ge-1? Independent towed my car from

Phoenix diagnosed and repaired my car all in 3 days time. They also have had their driver take me anywhere I needed to go including the airport and bring me from my home to retrieve my cars from the shop. These guys have been great for me and all my BMWs. The staff is always friendly. JP seems to be on top of all the BMW models and Chris can find any part for any car. Thanks a million for making my BMW experience great.
