  • Little Germany repaired my 3 series BMW in one day. I found the manager, Chris Bawgus, to be very friendly and honest, and I saved a significant amount of money compared to what the dealer wanted for the same repairs. I highly recommend Little Germany and will use them in the future.

  • I have come to Little Germany for over 40 years because it provides professional and friendly service that you can count on. The new service manager, Chris Bawgus is a worthy successor to David Lansing. He is more than just a service manager, but a friend whom I can depend upon for advice and assistance with my any BMW problems that I may have. Great service and fair prices keep me coming back.

Soon after a valve cover gasket and an accessory pulley service at Little Germany, my car went to limp mode with a VANOS code. This turned out to be a tricky issue to isolate and resolve. It took the team a few weeks, but they figured it out. The car runs like a dream again. I have a smile on my face every time I take the car for a drive. Thanks Little Germany.

This is literally the only trustworthy German auto shop in Tucson. I went through most or all of them before finally finding Little Germany. The Tucson BMW dealership is definitely not on the level, as they consistently pretended not to know what a problem was (or re-create it) until AFTER the warranty ended. Then it suddenly became a well-known issue. The other big shop in town was prepared to charge me almost $4,000 for a set of repairs (control arm, new tires, alignment) that they said were critical. I took it to Chris at Little Germany and he suggested I just get my alignment done and then see if that fixed the issue (and it did - but he did not charge me a penny for the advice). That's a difference of about $3900 from the original estimate at one place (and the Tucson BMW dealership said that they had never seen the issue, which was obviously not true).

Basically, I will not trust any of my BMWs with anyone in Tucson except Little Germany. They are the only honest game in town.

Chris Bawgus is without question the most knowledgeable, personable and honest BMW Service Manager in Tucson. Over the years we--my wife and I--have had service on several BMWs by several certified shops, including the BMW Dealership in Tucson, and honestly, we haven't been treated better than at Little Germany by Chris and his staff.

Had an excellent service experience at Little Germany! I was traveling on vacation from Northern Arizona and did not get a rental this time.

When I arrived in Tucson I was having some transmission fluttering issues that were prevalent. My friend here locally recommended Little Germany so I scheduled an appointment.

When I arrived I didn't wait long before being informed that I needed a transmission flush and that there was a small crack/leak in the piping.

Little Germany repaired this leak and flushed my transmission within hours.

    Great service and people!

Honest, Quick, Friendly. Chris (Service manager) and Curtis (Technician) came thru when I needed my BMW Radiator Clutch Fan fixed on the fly. Done in minutes I was back on the road. While this is a simple fix for a tenured mechanic, it was that they understood, I was under time pressures and they came to my rescue. Highly professional operation is my opinion of Little Germany and I know the difference!

About two weeks before taking the X5 to Little Germany and, after a day of use, we found a great deal of smoke coming from the exhaust. Concerned that it might be a head gasket, we had the X5 trucked to Independent BMW service in Tucson. They had the X5 for a week and would not diagnose the problem, although they were able to recreate the problem. I cautiously picked up the car and drove it home.

I then read the forum articles and also had a local service provider do a different head gasket test. This test proved negative. They said they would be unable to determine the problem. I then called Little Germany.

Over the phone, Chris, Little Germany's service manager, told me that he thought he knew exactly what the problem was. Sure, I thought.

Worried that the EPA would come after me, the X5 was smoking so much, I drove it to Little Germany. While there, Chris told me exactly what he thought was the problem and approximately what the charges would be to replace the parts. He felt that the crank case ventilation system was to blame. On the second day , Chris called indicating that yes, it was a combination of crank case ventilation components that were causing the problem and the X5 was finished.

The bill was exactly what he told me it would be. The X5 is now running perfectly.

When I picked up the X5, I left my Z4 for a oil and filter change. That service was completed the next day and a very fair price especially when compared to BMW of Tucson.

A very professional European car repair business.

These guys at Little Germany are good. They really knew their stuff on my old 1969 Bimmer and my e39 530, as well as our son's 80 e12 5 speed, and e38 740iL.

Their four top mechanics have been there for years and years. They are easy to talk to, and give thorough explanations of operations and procedures on a given repair. What is best about them is their ability to find parts for just about any body, engine, transmission, or driveline - axle problem. You never feel like you are being slickered.
