BMW is officially joining the “green” automobile ranks with its new all-electric i3 vehicle, set to roll out on showroom floors in the United States in May 2014.
Retailing for around $41,350 (depending on model), the BMW i3 is significantly less than other premium all-electric vehicles on the market and offers the same fuel efficiency.
With its lightweight carbon reinforced plastic body frame and powerful electric motor, the sporty luxury vehicle stays true to the BMW brand with performance and driving capabilities.
