  Bill is an institution in the local BMW community. He's forgotten more about working on BMWs than most mechanics will ever know. He has a small, personal shop which means he's likely doing the work. He recently helped me resurrect an old neglected M3 that a number of other shops could not diagnose properly. Gearheads who know BMWs all know Bill and his shop and all take their cars there when they have work that they know needs to be done properly.

  Bill and his ace mechanic Nathan did substantial work on my 2000 328i 10 months or so ago (It's now 11/2010) to redo "repairs" that had been very badly done by another mechanic. It turned out to be a much bigger job than he originally thought, but they did a great job, as 10 months of continued driving attest to. I had been about to get rid of the car! They are as nice as can be, honest and straightforward and I thought the prices were very fair considering the amount of time they put in. Bill was great about calling and explaining what they'd found and what that meant cost-wise. Every time I was in the shop, I encountered another regular customer who wouldn't take his precious older BMW anywhere else. As I head into my 2nd 100.000 miles, I am so happy and relieved to have found them. I give them the highest recommendation.
