Expert BMW repair and BMW service in Miami, FL since 1982. We are Miami-Dade County's European auto repair experts!
My name is Douglas Andrew, Jr., my wife Maria and I started Doug's Automotive as a family-run repair service in 1982. Our large AAA-rated (Approved Auto Repair) facility employs experienced technicians certified by A.S.E. who have been nationally recognized for their skills and expertise. Although a cliche, it is a fact that our goal is to exceed your expectations and we have been successfully doing just that for the last thirty years. Our recent appointment to the Bosch Car Service program is a testament of our commitment to quality automotive service.
Regardless of what some believe, the only correct, accurate & professional way to test, analyze & diagnose today's computerized vehicles is to use advanced-level factory-specific scan tools during the process.
We use such equipment in out shop and are trained in their use and operation. We offer service and repair on BMW, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, VW/Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover and Saab. Our technicians can also handle popular domestic and Asian vehicles.

More About Doug, Owner of Doug's Automotive
I was employed as a technician in a local repair shop from 1971-1982; it was in that year that I decided to establish my own business, and I have never looked back. 2012 marks my thirtieth anniversary as a shop owner. I have spent hundreds of hours attending training courses conducted by Bosch, NAPA, BMW, General Motors, Ford, Benz, Nissan, Honda, Chrysler and Toyota, among others.
I have been an ASE-certified technician since 1974 and achieved Master Technician status in 1980. Additionally, I have been an ASE Advanced Engine Performance (L1) Certified Technician since 1995. I have been a past finalist in the NAPA Technician of the Year competition (ten times), and in 1999 I was doubly blessed: I was named the Fluke Engine Performance Specialist Technician of the Year and was a finalist in the AC-Delco Technician of the Millennium Contest, one of only 72 in the nation. I am also a writer, having written four automotive instructor training manuals for Delmar Publishers.
My hobbies include spending as much time as possible with my children and long distance running. I finished Grandma's Marathon and the Chicago Marathon in 1999, the Marine Corps Marathon in 2000, the New York City Marathon in 2002 and the Marine Corps Marathon in 2006.
