Sadly, I have had multiple bad experiences with the Prestige. The first time I went I had a window regulator replaced and they decided no to reattach the door handle. They said a part was missing, so they could not do it. When I complained, they found a screw in their shop and put it back on. Minor, I know. But then, it took them 5 minutes to fix it after I complained about it. I dropped off and picked up the car (they did not pick me up or drop me off) and they did not call to ask about the missing part. In light of others good experiences, I gave them another try.
Sadly this time was considerably worse. I dropped the car off with a bad window regulator wagon hatch hinges that needed replacement. Before I went I contacted the shop to ask how much the it was to replace the shocks. We had an extended conversation about what style they were, as they have changed them on the wagon multiple times. I also asked the associate to look at the brake pads and let me know if they thought they needed changing. Finally, I asked to be called when the car was completed. I let them know I needed to leave town the next day which is why I wanted the services done.
The window regulator was replaced. When I arrived a little before closing (they never called to tell me the car was complete) they informed me that they did not look at the brake pads, and they would have had to charge me extra to do the rear dampers.
Needless to say, they never called me to tell me the car was done and they never called to ask about the dampers.
To top off the wonderful service, the tech who pulled by car out of the garage grounded it on the parking berm. To the shop's credit, they offered to immediately fix it, but I was so fed up with their lack of professionalism that I took it home and did it myself.
I will never contact "Prestige" again - except maybe to tell them to stop texting me promotions on my wireless phone.
