I had a complex issue with my Maserati and brought it to Mike John’s Imports, and couldn’t be more glad that I did.
From the beginning, their team showed a level of patience and commitment that’s hard to find. This wasn’t a quick or simple repair, and also included a very complicated electrical issue. They spent several months working through the problems methodically, diagnosing, testing, and ultimately tracking it down to the root cause. At one point they even disassembled the trunk area to locate and repair a ground fault, as some resistors were beginning to get warm after running the car for an hour, which speaks to how thorough they were in getting it right and spend time observing everything.
What stood out most was their fairness and integrity throughout the process. They put in a significant amount of time and effort but remained reasonable in what they charged, and they took care of additional work along the way without nickel-and-diming me. They also provided a loaner vehicle for an extended period, which made a huge difference and took a lot of pressure off while my car was being repaired.
Communication was another strong point. I had multiple in-depth conversations with the manager in charge of my job, Erik where we went over the car, the diagnostic process, and next steps. Those meetings never felt rushed, and it was clear they genuinely cared about both the work and the customer experience. Erik was excellent throughout the entire process, and someone that I have grown to admire as he is very knowledgeable, personable, honest and very passionate about his customers as well as his career, interests, and life.
The entire staff was excellent to work with—friendly, welcoming, and professional every time I came in. Lindsey and Brandy at the front desk were especially helpful and made every visit a positive experience.
If you own a high-end or Italian vehicle, it’s not easy to find a shop you can trust. This is the only place in the Louisville area that has the capability and willingness to take on brands like Maserati and other specialty vehicles, and they stand behind their work.
Overall, I really appreciate the time, effort, and care they put into my car. I’ll continue to use them going forward and would confidently recommend them to others!
