  • The guys at ROCS are top notch when it comes to integrity and service! Their communication is fantastic as well. Their shop is state of the art, and they are very honest when it comes to dealing with your vehicle. I trusted them with tuning my Audi, and they did a great job. They have a customer for life here!

  • It's rare if not impossible to find a mechanic that has a high level of knowledge or integrity.... you don't need to look any further! This is a shop that is owner occupied and operated with a passion for cars which is 2nd to none. They are enthusiastic and have a do or die approach to every aspect of every task they take on. The same attitude beams from their hand picked staff. I will NEVER go anywhere else, the past 6 years of ownership have been an absolute pleasure now that I have a reliable outlet for any of my car needs.

  • I just wanted to give a shot out to R.O.C.S. in Belleville, NJ. I brought my car in for a service (lower valve covers and an oil change). They did a great job once again and are great guys to deal with. Rich is also a car enthusiast and if anyone in Northern NJ is looking for a garage I highly recommend him.

  • Highest recommendation for excellent service. Rich and his staff really know their Porsche products well and solved a problem in one visit on my 2006 Cayman that the dealerships could not. Saved me hundreds of dollars because Rich listens to what the customer is saying and can apply his skills and knowledge to get to the root cause of what is happening. He has the versatility to cope with new tech issues just as well as race preparation. Now I am delighted with my car and will never consider taking it anywhere else for expert care and flawless operation.

  • Without a shadow of a doubt, this is the only place I will let my car be serviced or repaired. The guys there (Vic, Rich and the staff) are the best at what they do. The job was done once and was done the right way. No other so called specialist, not even the dealer would ever lay hands on my car other than the team @ R.O.C.S.
They have been with me since day one and treated me as one of their own. You guys will always have me as a customer.

  • Great Service & repair work. This is when OCD is a good thing. Nothing is left to chance, every detail is looked after. Vic is a master mechanic & one of the most knowledgeable car guys I know. Rich is always on top of all the new & latest for your Porsche, Audi, BMW, etc, whether you're looking to upgrade or restore, he can help you.The shop mechanics Armando & Javier have years of experience & training with a global understanding of repairing upgrading & restoring every European make & model out there. You can trust your baby with them. It's in great hands.

The team at ROCS is knowledgeable and professional. This has been my dealer alternative shop of choice for all my BMWs and Mini needs. I have had a range of cars serviced there for over 10 years to include older e30, e36 and e46 platforms. Whether it's simple service/oil changes to performance/race upgrades, they can meet your needs. I put family and life first, and that is why I put my confidence behind this team and choose ROCS. Over the years Rich and Vic, have been very helpful. No situation is perfect (Sometimes manufactures make mistakes), but they have stood behind there products and worked to ensure myself and other customers needs were met. I don't hesitate recommending them.

ROCS Has assisted with my BMW from PPI to Purchase, Mods, and repairs and the service and integrity is the best in the business. After owning 22 BMW's and dealing with many different dealerships I will not bring my car anywhere else.

Dropped 2000 750il for a minor inspection (Post purchase) and some front suspension work. Was told to bring the car in at 8am on Tuesday. After speaking with Rich, he seemed hesitant that the car would be done by the end of the day. I said that was fine, just let me know so I can make alternative travel arrangements.

So 5:30 rolls around with no call, no update. I decided to give them a call to find out how things were going and Dave let me know that he'd have to give me a ring back. Sure enough, he called right at closing time but to let me know they hadn't even had a chance to put the car on the lift. 10 hours sitting at their shop and they couldn't be bothered to let me know that they had other issues and couldn't get to the car. Dave said they had a car stuck on the lift. Frustrated, I said it would have been nice to get a call so I could plan for this.

So I let them get on with it, expecting a call sometime in the afternoon. Again, no call. I call up again at 5:30 to see what was going on. Dave again says, He'd have to check with Victor and call me back. I waited and their closing time rolled around and no call back. I attempted to call their main line and no one picked up. After explaining my need to make alternative travel arrangements the day before, ROCS again left me with no idea what is going on with my car. I don't know whether it will be ready tomorrow, I don't know if they have even started on the car.

I mean, c'mon guys. I work with cars, I know stuff happens. All you have to do is pick up the phone and let me know. That is all I am asking. Leaving someone in the dark without their vehicle to get to work is just inconsiderate.

Customer scheduled a simplified PPI (post purchase inspection), he was given an immediate appointment for two reasons; he was a repeat customer and a simplified PPI takes an hour to complete.

When the customer arrived for drop off he added 7 additional items to the list, some of which involved troubleshooting, as well as replacement.

What we should have done was to stick with the initial 1 hour time slot appointment and reschedule the vehicle for any other work down the road (we typically schedule 1 to 2 weeks ahead), instead we tried to accommodate our customer and unfortunately were unable to get to the vehicle immediately, where we should have been more diligent was in customer contact, he should have been made aware of the situation.

With that said, we are know as one of the premiere shops in the Northeast for the lines that we specialize in, we run a very busy shop because we know our stuff (all of it!), are fair and honest.

I found R.O.C.S Auto on Bimmershops when searching for a reputable shop for my 2001 330ci which had been neglected for far too long. I called and spoke with Rich and I was immediately impressed by his thorough understanding of my vehicle. I brought my car in for service and I could not be happier with the work Rich and Victor did on my car. They are meticulous in their diagnostics, leaving no stone unturned to ensure they know exactly what’s going on with the car. Rich worked closely with me to make sure I knew everything my car needed and why. They brought my car back from the “dead” and I can honestly say it’s better than new. When I picked my car up, Rich and Victor showed me the parts they removed and explained exactly why it needed to be replaced. I have never been to a shop that took the amount of time to listen and explain or cared so much about the quality of the work they performed. I was so happy with them that a week later I brought in my 1998 328i to have some work done and I am equally satisfied. I highly recommend R.O.C.S Auto to anyone who will absolutely not settle for less than the best for their BMW.

Rich and Victor at R.O.C.S fueled my interest in sport and classic cars nearly a decade ago. It started with my Porsche 356 and 912 and happily continues today with the addition of a BMW (2002) and (e46). Their passion and expertise shows in their work and it's because of them I "motor " with confidence. Thanks guys.

Rich at ROCS did a very professional job of handling some repairs necessitated by some track days. He was very familiar with my E36 M3 and was helpful in finding some cost effective solutions. Very responsive and, thanks to e-mail, easy to communicate with.
