Ian is a BMW Master Technician trained and certified through BMW North America. Ian worked for BMW in Santa Fe for five years and during this time with BMW, he received national recognition as a Profiles in Achievement winner in 2008 and 2009. He is certified in BMW Advanced Diesel and Hybrid Technology. Ian opened his own independent repair shop July 2010.
Ian is ASE Master Certified with twenty three years experience in imported vehicles. He developed an appreciation and passion for BMW engineering and Mini Cooper. Ian is known locally for his experienced product knowledge in late model BMW with honesty and integrity.

Ian Clemmer and Ian's Garage has been servicing my 2006 BMW e46 M3 since the day I drove it new off the BMW lot (Ian use to work for Santa Fe BMW before he went out on his own). I feel so fortunate to have found him after he left BMW. As a master technician, Ian instantly shows his love for the brand. A consummate professional, and a knowledgeable mechanic (artisan), Ian always does a quality job. The advantage of having him work on my car is that I know he genuinely cares about the vehicle (as if it were his own), and he is committed to making me completely satisfied. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my car.
So my girlfriend and I were in Santa Fe on vacation when we run into a problem with our BMW. We found Ian on the internet and drove over to his shop he spent probably 45 minutes looking at our car and helped us understand that it was still under warranty and arranged for the car to be brought to the dealer and also told the dealer to expect us and we got VIP treatment from them and we also got VIP treatment from Ian and his wife Theresa they just took care of us and what was potentially was a pretty stressful situation turned into something that was a unique customer experience.
Besides being very nice people Ian and Teresa know what they're doing in has a serious background Volvo's and BMWs and it seems to me that the local dealer uses his expertise on a regular basis when they have problems that are a little beyond their abilities.
Bottom line is you go to a mechanic sometimes wondering if they're going to take advantage of you. It is the opposite with Ian and Theresa. With them you have people who will be your advocate and will take care of you.
While on a visit to Santa Fe, we experienced car problems with our BMW. Ian expedited the repairs in a timely and professional manner. We would highly recommend him and Ian's Garage to any BMW owner. He is the best!
I had never even owned a BMW until a year or so ago. Everyone always warned me not to get one bc of the maintenance costs. Well let me tell you no matter what car you drive it will eventually break. Ian is the most honest and professional mechanic I have ever ran across. He is a straight shooter and won't gouge you. I am so lucky to have such a great mechanic for my vehicles. So unless I move or Ian closes his shop, Ian's Garage, I know I will never regret buying a BMW!
Since I located Ian's Garage, I always take my 330XI to him for all maintenance and repairs. He makes owning a late model affordable. When people I know, or other BMW owners, ask me where I take my BMW for maintenance or repairs I always recommend Ian and give them his number.
