Wood's Werks LLC was founded by Tyler Wood, a former BMW dealership Level 1 BMW Master Technician and graduate of BMW's factory Service Technician Education Program. Our MINI technician is a Level 1 MINI Master Technician who has been working on MINIs exclusively since 2002.

We formed this company with the belief that we could provide what the dealership was offering, at a lower cost, with much better service and customer attention. Our new facility is 6500 sq ft. and is within a few weeks of having a finished top to bottom renovation. We take great pride in all that we do, including maintaining our facility. Our parking lot is freshly paved, the exterior is freshly painted. Our customer waiting room has all the features that you would expect at a high-line dealership. Our workshop is very clean, well lit, and we keep all of our customer cars indoors, from drop-off to pick-up. We have the factory ISTA software, a GT1, and a full assortment of the necessary factory special tools. Wood's Werks services BMW's and MINI's only and our goal is to be the BEST place to take a BMW/MINI in Pittsburgh.

Tyler has serviced and repaired my 328xi during the past 60,000 miles. Excellent service, honest, reasonably priced, and very friendly people.

Tyler and his wife run a very honest business. Never have I met a BMW mechanic that is more honest and dedicated to making sure that your needs are met in a timely manner. His prices are better than any shop I have ever been too. I cant say enough good things about Wood's Werks.

Simply the best. Able to diagnose problems quickly. Discusses options and recommends solutions. Terrific follow-up after service. Less expensive than dealers. I would highly recommend Tyler and his team at Wood's Werks.

My son was attending Pitt and started his car after sitting in a garage for several weeks. Oil smoke started coming from the engine compartment right before a 200 mile trip home. We thought we were lucky to have the downtown dealership just 2 blocks away. He took the car there and three days later received an estimate well over $3000 to change a few gaskets, a belt and a bulb. We contacted Wood's Werks, received an estimate the same day for the same work. They did the work for less than 1/3 of the dealership price AND provided the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time! My son’s car was repaired in time to get him home safely for spring break! Don’t hesitate, go there for all your service and maintenance needs!

Only great things to say about Wood's Werk where I took a used BMW 328i for a pre-purchase inspection. Amazing customer service: available on the phone, friendly, and most importantly very serious and thorough with their work. One thing I particularly appreciated: Tyler took me in the shop and showed me in person what he inspected and what he had found (or not-found in this case, the car was in excellent condition). Also he went through the trouble of writing down everything he saw during the inspection. Overall, terrific experience!!
