HUGE Thanks to EuroTech on Broadway in Myrtle Beach! Long story short: My shop is on Colorado and my parents own a B6 S4 (Audi S4), they live in Connecticut. They were driving to Florida for their vacation and bottomed out the car in South Carolina, resulting in a coolant leak that left them on the side of the road. They called me looking for help and I started to look for a shop that could help, after talking with a dealership in Charleston and few other "do everything" local shops, I stumbled on EuroTech on Broadway in Myrtle Beach. Luckily they were only 20 miles away from where my parents were broke down. Of course, the fact that I am a shop owner and an Audi specialist makes me a bit of a perfectionist, so it pains me to think of someone I do not know working on a car that belongs to a family member. I called and spoke with Antonio who is the owner as well as a tech, I immediately got the impression that I had found the right guy for the job. After exchanging information and telling him my situation, he said "Mr. Lagas I will send a flat bed to pick up your parents and the Audi right away, we will diagnose the issue as soon as it arrives and I will contact you as soon as I know what needs to be fixed. I will set up your parents with a rental car and provide anything else they need to make them comfortable." I was feeling very good about the situation at this point. Antonio stayed in contact with me and my father throughout the entire process and made everyone feel at ease. The car had a cracked auxiliary radiator on the right side, which is what I had suspected from the time my father first called me. Antonio called to let me know there were no parts anywhere locally, he could get one out of Texas and the warehouse would charge a premium for it plus the overnight shipping. He gave me the opportunity to try to find one here in Denver and overnight it to his shop, which I thought was very generous considering that shops do have to make money on parts to stay in business. I found one here and had it sitting on his door step when he arrived to open the shop, the car was completed before noon. Antonio stayed late the night before to take the car apart so he would be ready as soon as the new aux. radiator showed up. I received a phone call letting me know the car was done and my parents were back on their way to Florida. The explanations he gave my father and I were very thorough and I had no doubt that Antonio knows these cars and how to work on them. My father called and was very impressed with the experience he had at EuroTech. Antonio and his business went above and beyond to make this situation go as smoothly and quickly as possible, I am thoroughly impressed and very grateful. I cant say enough about these guys! So if you are any where near Myrtle Beach and you need a good shop to take care of your European cars, call Antonio at EuroTech on Broadway. I was impressed and I am sure you will be also!

CAYMAN S 32k miles. I was experiencing severe vibration, harmonic distortion, and rough idle with vibration pronounced around 2000 RPM's under load in every gear. That same pronounced roughness was present at idle from 1200 to 1400 RPM's. This was in addition to strange chirping sounds emitting from the rear-end area. It appeared the problem was clutch related so I went to a local independent shop in Myrtle Beach being the car was just out of warranty - naturally. After being advised the throw-out bearing was bad, I replaced the whole clutch (clutch-kit) at significant expense. The independent local Garage that did the clutch said the Dual-mass flywheel was fine with no visible scorching marks or discoloration and no need to replace. I picked up the car and except for the clutch chattering now gone, I continued to experience all the same previous symptoms. It became clear the garage was clueless as to the causes and even tried to say the symptoms were now gone after driving the car. I then proceeded ... I picked up the car and except for the clutch chattering now gone, I continued to experience all the same previous symptoms. It became clear the garage was clueless as to the causes and even tried to say the symptoms were now gone after driving the car. I then proceeded to get away from them only to then have an even worse experience after driving 2 hours south from Myrtle Beach to the nearest Porsche Dealer for 2 days of troubleshooting. The Dealer "believed it was the motor mounts and/or transmission mounts" and advised that I replace them all for roughly $2200 parts and labor ($145.00/hour). I decided to go back to the original Garage (better deal)that did the clutch (labor $85.00/hour)in Myrtle beach and replaced both motor mounts with imperceptible improvement. At my wits end and cumulatively $3000 poorer, I researched the Web, Porsche blogs, Porsche Club etc. where I came across a fellow PCA member who told me to go see Antonio @ EUROTECH in the center of Myrtle Beach. Skeptical at first, I learned he was a mechanic at the Ferrari plant in Italy in addition to stints at Porsche, Mercedes, and Audi to name a few. First off, he offered to diagnose and troubleshoot the car free of charge. I paid for this already @ Porsche and the local independent shop to no avail. He drove the car with me and after 2 hours garage time while I waited told me definitively what the problem was along with 12 pages of fault codes, not one of which I ever got from Porsche after a half-dozen visits over 2 years. I scheduled an appointment immediately and he replaced the Dual-mass Flywheel in 1.5 days at an internet parts price and $85.00/hour labor. He said the previous shop never even removed the flywheel to inspect it and that not only was it shot, but it was frozen (no play between the 2 discs). He even recorded this all on his I-Phone video (which I later emailed to the Garage that said the Flywheel was fine - no problem). He then went on to recommended an oil/filter change to visually inspect the oil for any internal damage clues due to the severe wear and tear on the transmission, rear seal, bearing, and crankshaft that a bad flywheel can do over time. He also replaced my Mobil 1 5W30 oil (Porsche Dealer) with a German brand of oil far superior at a very nominal increased price. Antonio is in a league all by himself in this region of the country. He is a consummate professional that despite my experiences, would not say one thing negative about his competitors despite what one said about him. He is a classy guy that is passionate in his craft and love of fine automobiles. He also likes and cares about people. I would highly recommend Antonio and his talented crew on any performance or high-end exotic machine for expert service at fair and reasonable prices. While there on various visits, I continue to hear accolades of all kinds about his technical mastery, mechanical abilities & expertise, and how honest and ethical a businessman he is from other customers. It's also a treat to visit and check-out the other exotic and vintage cars on hand and displayed in the Garage bays. Mark S. Perry FINANCIAL ADVISOR

will give Eurotech the highest recommendation for Care and Service on BMW 745I I was in Myrtle Beach for vacation and had driven my BMW 745I up from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (675 miles). While in Myrtle, the car's transmission started to slip and then the Transmission Warning light came on. I called my mechanic in Lauderdale to see if I could carefully drive the car back…so that my trusted service provider could repair my “high tech” vehicle. After I described the symptoms, he thought that the car could make the trip home…but advised me to take it to the local BMW dealer's service center or find a foreign car specialist to check it prior to taking the risk of driving it all the way back to Florida. That was obviously an anxious proposition for me as I've experienced the very expensive service of BMW dealers. And no one relishes taking their high end car to a specialist service provider that you don't know. We've all dealt with or heard about the auto service shark with the smile that says, “You need to replace the entire ______ …and that will be $2000 ... That was obviously an anxious proposition for me as I've experienced the very expensive service of BMW dealers. And no one relishes taking their high end car to a specialist service provider that you don't know. We've all dealt with or heard about the auto service shark with the smile that says, “You need to replace the entire ______ …and that will be $2000”. Fortunately, I found Eurotech on the internet and you were able fit me in for an inspection (requiring that my car be placed on the lift and inspected from underneath). For that diagnostic service, you charged me just $40. Upon inspection, you saw that the car's transmission system had a massive leak and that there was no way the car could make the trip back to Lauderdale without replacing the transmission pan and gasket (and the transmission fluid). You took me under the car and showed me precisely where it was leaking. We then went into your office and called BMW to price the parts and fluid. You invited me to listen on the speaker phone as you spoke to their parts department. That allowed me to know that I was getting a fair price on the materials. You then quoted the labor…and I realized that I couldn't get a better price even if I could have gotten the car back to my local shop. The work was completed as soon as the parts were in. You then thoroughly test drove the car after your repair work…and then demonstrated the volume deficit of the fluid removed from the old system. The bottom line is that if I would have driven the car back to Florida, I would have burnt the transmission and faced a $10000 repair bill. If it would have ended there (with me happily leaving your service facility with a sound car), I would have been pleased with my service experience. But it didn't stop there. You called me the following day to see how the car was operating (it was running great). Then, you called me a month later to again follow up. THAT…is great service and an incredible commitment to customer satisfaction. You're a class act, Antonio, and I can't thank you enough for taking care of me and my car. You turned what could have been a bad and expensive experience into one that restores my confidence in auto service providers (those with integrity and ethics).
