I was very impressed with the friendly staff, immediately greeted as I came in, fair pricing, and decent wait time. I was in and out in a reasonable time for what my BMW issues were. Kind, friendly, and informative staff. I would use Import Motorworks again.

I would highly recommend Import Motorworks. I was new to the area a few years back and needed a reliable shop to work on my BMW. A friend recommended Ben at Import Motorworks. Ben takes the time to explain what is needed and is also very willing to give advice to me if I would attempt too do some of the minor things myself. Matt is also very helpful when setting up service and explaining things so anyone can understand what is needed. They are honest and trustworthy and do a great job!!! I take my car to them anytime it needs service or repair. The prices are very reasonable and they do quality work. I have recommended several friends and colleagues and they have all been very happy with the work.

I think I was in for a simple oil change and I had a service light that needed to be reset. It turned out it was for a mass airflow sensor, not a cheap part. Ben, Import Motorworks, happened to have one in the back from another vehicle and gave it to me for free. These guys are not in it to rip you off. They have also worked on my 911 and have done a great job.

My 2000 M5 gave up outside of Chattanooga while traveling from Toledo OH to Atlanta GA. After the tow to the local dealer, a new fuel pump was needed- est. cost $1200. I called my local shop who said 2.2 hrs and $425 for the OEM part. I the found (via this site) Import Motorworks and Ben and Matt came to the rescue. The dealer made the tow a 2 day process (boo). The service was excellent, costs reasonable, and I felt they really cared. If I were closer this would be my shop. Many thanks.

After taking my sons car to another independent BMW repair shop, my wife was told that the engine would have to be replaced at a cost of 4k plus dollars for a used motor with 128k miles! I knew the car had overheated and I felt the head gasket was most likely blown. Being that I was already out $300 for BA to diagnose the problem and make their recommendation for engine replacement, they had lost my confidence. I called Ben at Import Motorworks and asked if he would mind to take a look at the car. I had the car towed to import and was contacted the next day and informed that the engine was completely repairable! I told Ben that my son was in the military and needed the car repaired so the would have transportation to return to his base and once he was there. (something my wife had also told BA). Knowing there was a deadline, Ben worked overtime to ensure the car was repaired and done right, and at a price much less than half our quote from BA. Import will always get my business as well as that of my friends!

My wife always wanted a BMW but when I took it to the dealer for repairs I was considering selling it. I searched online and found Import Motorworks. I read all the reviews and was impressed. Spoke with the owner Ben and he checked our car out personally. Within minutes he knew exactly what was wrong. He quoted me a price that was less than half of what the dealers wanted. Fast, friendly and honest. I have recommended his shop to a few friends and they all feel the same way.

If you have an import and you need anything at all, large or small, Import Motorworks is the place to take your car. The master mechanic, Ben, is the most honest, fair minded individual you will ever meet. The quality of repair work you received each and every time is superb. I will take my automobiles there whenever I need a professional mechanic to handle an issue. Thanks Ben for all you do for your clients!

I was so pleased with the personal service and reasonable hourly cost to service my wife's BMW. Ben is like the MacGyver of BMW technicians. Import Motorworks are the only ones I want touching my car. As a business owner I know how much knowledge and service mean to customers. Some of the bigger shops should take a lesson from these guys.

Much like the other guys, I had lost all faith in mechanics and their ability to speak truth. Mr. Spears, (owner/operator) explained what was wrong with my vehicle and what he recommended it needed but ALSO told me the things that maybe could wait for a later date. You will not find another mechanic this honest! If he tells you something, it's truth! Being a guy sometimes it's easy for us to get our ego's hurt bringing our car's problems to someone when we wish we could just fix it ourselves. Mr. Spears talked to me like an adult and was very professional. I still don't trust mechanics but seeing as how Mr. Spears is a ASE certified Master Tech, I'll not be taking my vehicles anywhere else but Import Motorworks.

Most people do not trust mechanics, they take their cars to them knowing almost for certain that the bill will be far more than is expected. They just plain know they are not going to be taken care of! I was one of these cynical persons until a teacher recommended Import Motorworks to me. I took my car in and I was amazed at the very professional and courteous service, he did all my repairs promptly and the best thing is that it was very much cheaper than anyone in town. I really also value his unbiased advice about my vehicle which he gave away generously. I never taught the day would come when I would trust a mechanic but it has and no one else will be touching my car. Thanks very much, my car drives like new and it did not cost me an arm and leg. You are a model mechanic and I believe all your customers will see it's true once you have serviced their vehicles. God speed!

I needed a transmission rebuild on my '95 325i and Import Motorworks did a great job. It was very quick and inexpensive, much cheaper than BMW of Chattanooga quoted me for. Import Motorworks also gave me a warranty on my transmission. I was treated courteously and professionally in all my dealings with Import Motorworks, and now my BMW runs great. Check this guy out for good, cheap, courteous service.
