I had high hopes for Eurotech partly because my UPS driver said they were nice and had a good reputation.
The female associate at the front was cordial initially but once she heard my questions about upgrading my engine after the warranty she immediately changed her tone and attitude. She made a baseless claim that "all diesels have problems with upgrades" and that is unequivocally false since I have real experience upgrading by 2000 VW jetta TDI with a chip and precision injectors. I don't think she's a mechanic but she sure acts like one.
She even claimed that the owner "feels the same way about diesels." She is obviously hostile towards diesels and may love her high powered Prius or Tesla.
Luckily, Chris came to the rescue and was actually helpful and had a good attitude. He cheerfully pulled away from his job and checked my bad engine code that was related to a glow plug relay, reset it and it's been fine ever since. They didn't charge me, and I'm still wiling to give them another try ( mostly because of Chris), and if they do a good job or the diesel hater apologizes for basically attacking me and my ideas, I might delete this review and give a much more thorough and positive one. First experience at the counter was one of the worst I've ever had in my 4 decades of dealing with mechanics.
