The projected time of service completion took nearly 4 hours longer and I had to wait on a Saturday. I initially sat outside on a shaded wooden bench, then watched NBC Olympic coverage inside on the TV. Thankfully there was a bottled water unit to quench my thirst. That was cool.

Steve is very unprofessional this place is the worst they rip you off so bad and try to make u pay for things you never asked for. Don’t waste your time coming here unless you’re trying to get robbed

Alpine Auto is one of those rare stand up organizations. It's such a pleasure to do business with people who really know what they are doing and are honest. What an awesome combination. I'm so thankful that I was referred to them. Starting with Nancy at the front desk and then Steve, who gives you the time, attention and care needed. Thank you Alpine Auto Dismantling & Rpr 337 W Ave 26, Los Angeles, CA 90031 Continued Success!

They are the best. Every place that I called about my BMW wanted 3000.00 to fix the abs parking brake module. I had it towed to their shop and it was repaired for less than 1000.00 and they brought it me because I was having a diffcult time going to get it. If your car needs any type of service take it to these guys! You will be satisfied with the service.

When my BMW needed repair, I took it to the BMW dealership and got a diagnosis and It was gonna be very expensive to fix my car. I decided to look in the internet and found Alpine LA where I had a great experience and I saved a lot of money. The guy was very helpful and made me feel in great hands. My car works great, I recommend this place.

I have 2004 745Li with an unusual issue, the vehicle kept going into transmission fail safe, and shutting off on me. When this issue occurs the radio went off, the cluster will shut off with only the transmission fail safe lights. I took it to many shops but they couldn't figure out the exact pin point of the cars issue. Mike and Steve at Alpine LA figured it out after extensive tests and let me know that my instrument cluster was faulty and was shutting off the rest of the most system so the other items wont get damaged. Robert in the front found a good cluster for me and let me go on my way with my car all fixed. By the way they have a parts department too which is awesome. This has to be one of the top mechanic shops in LA area for BMW.

I got a couple of things done, transmission got replaced, fan, a few sensors, and a leak. The 03 7 series is a difficult car to work on. I wouldn't suggest taking a car like that any where else. I would recommend you ask for Steve, he's one of the owners of Alpine LA. Him and his brother are both good guys but I dealt more with Steve. And Mike is the tech that worked on my car. He's pretty much the head surgeon in the lab.

I have a 1998 M Roadster. I've had the car since 2000 and have been fortunate that I haven't experienced any problems. Recently it started making engine noises and failed to pass inspection. I took it to a few different shops to find out what was wrong and get repair estimates. Each shop told me something different. One place said I needed a new engine. Another said I needed to replace the VANOS. I decided to seek out another estimate to see which of the first two was correct. I found Alpine LA on this web site, scheduled an appointment and brought my car in. A couple of guys there could work on improving their customer service skills. Steve and Mike were personable, though. Steve explained what needed to be done (he didn't mention replacing the engine or the VANOS). The total for parts and labor came to around $1500. I didn't want to spend that much money all at once and asked for the minimum I could get away with doing and still pass inspection. Without hesitation Steve explained what needed to be done immediately, what could wait and why. I followed his advice and got the bare minimum repairs done. I passed inspection then came back a few weeks later and had the rest done. Too many car guys take advantage of the asymmetrical knowledge advantage they have over most people. Steve and Mike at Alpine LA both came across as likable guys and straight shooters. I'll keep going back unless that changes.

My M3 had a very rare problem with the valve timing, after taking it to many shops I was ready to give up on the car to sell it. Then I found Alpine LA, took my car there and they described to me the problem in full detail assuring I have understood what the problem was. The guys down there are really cool and fun to be around with. They fixed my car with quality original parts and gave me a really good deal on it to. A+ service, recommend it to everyone.
