Okay, i don't write too much reviews but i feel like i have to write one for this guys. Tristan and Eric are very knowledgable, helpful and provided good communication throughout the process.
I have always taken my M to the dealer as i was afraid that the independent shops cannot compete with dealerships in terms of skill and quality of repairs but after coming to dealers for years and paying an absurd amount of money, i finally decided to try an independent.
First i called around and checked on google for best reviews. There are several places i called and was just plain rude and disengaged. until I called the guys at Real Autohaus. They were kind and helpful from the get go. Went in for my oil change (pricing was cheaper than dealer). Also, i thought that an oil change is probably the cheapest way to test the waters with an auto repair shop. just to see how they will treat me and my car. And boy I was impressed. Very professional, got all my info and vehicle info and sent me an authorization to start service on my car via text. (high tech, dealers don't even do this) I approved it and the tech pulled the vehicle in and lifted the vehicle. I was introduced to the tech and brought me to the service area and pointed out a small leak coming from the drain plug. He then takes a photo of it with his Ipad and says they keep photos and videos to keep in the file. The dealer did not replace the washer when they did my oil change the last time.WOW. nuts!
After the service was performed, they also sent me the inspection findings with technician notes and photos they took via my email. Also i was told the any repairs that was done at Real comes with 3 years warranty. That's crazy because dealers is only 1 year.
If you have been going to the dealer and tired of the meh service with high price tag. Check these guys out. Try them out for an oil change and see for yourself. Highly recommended 5 stars!
