    Jim has helped me take a Craigslist 20 year old M3 and turn it into a very competitive track car. Recently I had a serious mechanical issue requiring complete rebuild of the top end. Jim did an outstanding job, upgrading to race valves/springs/lifters from VAC Motorsport, replaced the cams, and ported and polished the head. He truly converted the car into a track machine. It runs like a dream.

    Jim is also extremely honest and dependable. A valuable BMW resource in Westminster.

    Bought my M5 in Charlotte, NC. Pre purchase inspection found about 1K in issues,, with a detailed list. Brought the car North and gave it to Jim Francis, without the list. His inspection found almost identical "to do" list, which he completed for significantly less money than the shop down south wanted. Car now runs like a dream, and I have used Francis Automotive regularly for a classic 2002 with great results! Worth the drive from Baltimore.

    I highly recommend this shop to BMW owners. Experienced, knowledgeable, quality work, great customer service, and reasonable pricing. I have not taken my BMW anywhere else in the 8 years since I found Francis Automotive. I also use them for my wife's Honda Odyssey, as they have the ability to work on other brands as well.
