Welcome to Motor City Euro Repair, formerly known as Advanced Auto Sports. We have been open since 2002.

We are one of Metro Detroit's leading German auto repair shops. Specializing in BMW, MINI Cooper, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche. We offer a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on our repairs using OEM parts. We have the proper equipment, technicians and knowledge to repair your German vehicle.

We have a fleet of loaner vehicles, a complimentary shuttle service anywhere you need to go and a comfortable waiting area loaded with snacks and refreshments.     Took our BMW 325xi to Advanced Auto Sports and couldn't have been more pleased! They were professional, timely and definitely less expensive than going to the dealership for repairs. Actually the dealership diagnosed me as having to have the drive shaft replaced (and quoted me $1,470 for the repair) but when Advanced looked at it they found out that only the center link needed to be replaced and charged me $388 for the repairs. I appreciate their honesty and prompt efficient service. They just obtained a client for life...I will be bringing my Mercedes to them for its next service. Thanks again guys for the good work!

    Very impressed! Cleanest repair shop I have ever been in. Staff is clean cut and professional. Complimentary snacks and drinks. They go out of their way to explain your vehicle and don't force repairs on you. This was the first time in here, and it won't be the last. They seem to be doing the right thing with the customers' best interest in mind.

    I've came to this location a couple of times to service my Mercedes Benz AMG They have resolved the issues with my car. They are professional. Great customer skills. Full snack bar. Clean location. I highly recommend this place to any foreign car owner. Their communication skills are on point. Everything they do is on an itemized receipt. Pics are provided if needed also.     I had an excellent experience with Motorcity EURO Repair. The quality of work was top-notch, everything was completed right on time, and their communication throughout the process was clear and transparent. What really stood out was how Tommy went the extra mile by dealing directly with my vehicle warranty team on my behalf and making it extremely easy for me —something I truly appreciated, big shout out to him.     I had a great experience with this shop. From start to finish, everything went smoothly. They performed a full brake system job on my car, and the work was done professionally and correctly the first time around. What really stood out was their customer service — they offered a ride while my car was being worked on, which made the whole process incredibly convenient. I also appreciated that they even provided a discount, which helped me save on the overall cost. It’s rare to find a shop that’s both skilled and customer-focused. I’ll definitely be returning for future service and recommending them to other BMW owners.

    Excellent service…I’m glad I found this place. I relocated to MI and under estimated how challenging it would be to find a mechanic that specialized in Euro made vehicles, so when I found this I was excited but thought the pricing would be on the high end. My vehicle which I love is 14 yrs old, and is well maintained, but the manufacturer no longer makes this model. To my surprise, not only are the services reasonable priced but the service crew is top notch. They don’t try to sell you services you don’t need. The place is clean and comfortable to sit and wait for your vehicle if needed. They offer snacks, water and coffee, which are all nice touches. Also they offer shuttle service pending the distance. I loved when my vehicle was returned, there was no grease marks anywhere within my interior cabin unlike other places. This place in my opinion takes pride in what they do. Excellent all around. Lastly during my last visit, I had the opportunity to meet the owner and his son. Nice gentleman, humble, down the earth and seemingly overall nice guy. Excellent place to bring your vehicle particularly if it’s European brand vs the dealer if you want save a few bucks and experience an amazing customer personal touch❣️

    Extremely disappointed. Will never go back. Took '99 VW beetle in for A/C -blowing hot air. They called to say battery was dead when they tried to move it into garage they had to jump start car. They wanted $500 to replace the battery and refused to check the A/C without replacing it. Said they couldn't do their testing. I told them I believe there is a parasitic drain on the battery, but it is not bad. But they refused to do anything without replacing it. I said forget it. $500 for a battery was absolutely unacceptable. It takes 15 min to swap out and the battery is fine. They then charged me $170 for the "inspection" for me to pick up my car. When I arrived, I jump-started my car, took it home, took battery out of it, (in 10 min), took battery to auto store and had it tested. Store fully charged battery, tested and said it is good. Does not need replacement. Auto store did all this for Free!! So here I am out $170 and back to square one. Would never go back. And don't recommend!

    I had a great experience with the team at Advanced. Very detail oriented (you should see their inspection report) and did not try to oversell me. Great service at a decent price. Now I know where to go for all of my BMW service.
