I bought a non-running BMW 330i as a project car. I tried my best to get it running myself but it would crank but not start. I had it towed to Northeast Motorsports in part because of the reviews I read here. They basically did nothing to the car for four weeks. I called several times for updates and they said they haven't looked at it yet, maybe later this week, more likely next week. I left messages at least once a week and did not even get the courtesy of a callback.

At week four I spoke to Jack and told him I would just tow the car somewhere else. He didn't seem too concerned to be losing a customer. A few minutes later I was called back by Mike who said they did look at the car and think it may be a problem with the ECU, then later in the day they said they need to open the valve cover and check the timing. So I let them keep working on it. But for another two weeks I got no updates - radio silence. After six weeks in total I gave up and emailed them to just reassemble the car and I had it towed somewhere else. They basically charged me $625 "diagnostic labor" plus $150 for a part that didn't fix the issue, and I'm left with a car that still won't start. Despite what other reviewers say, this shop is neither punctual nor cost-effective. I understand with COVID their hours are reduced (only open Monday-Thursday) and there has been some winter weather issues, but six weeks without many updates. Take your business somewhere else.

I recently bought a 1995 BMW 850Ci that was in storage since 2005. After buying a non-running car I was finally pointed in the direction of this shop. Despite the OMG and the "you're crazy" for purchasing this car "non-running" I can say Jack and Mike understood my concerns and got the vehicle restarted after 16 years of storage. So far they have been upfront with cost, sincere with feedback on vehicle and have always been direct to the point on what the next steps should be. The vehicle is currently being sorted out for some additional work but the work performed so far has been flawless and price has always been fair and upfront. I had lost faith in mechanics and some of those who think their mechanics but these guys will restore your faith again. Don't hesitate, you have a BMW bring it here.
