We have been in business 28 years. We are a Bosch authorized repair center, and we have BMW and Mercedes-Benz master techs.

Also, we have a six acre salvage yard — strictly BMW and Mercedes-Benz parts.

I live in cary, nc and my son goes to unc Wilmington and had trouble with his 96 328is. hoping i could fix it myself, I drove down to have a look. too much for me to fix so I found the closest bmw shop to my sons house and limped it to ken bakers originals. boy am I glad I did!! Andrew and the guys took the car right in and even gave me a ride back to my sons house! they fixed the car fast and the price was awesome, and they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need! as a manager of a repair shop myself, I try to give the kind of service that I received from Andrew! it gives me peace of mind to know that my son has a place we can trust to service his car if he needs it!! thanks for making a stressful problem a stress free breeze! you guys are great!!

Good crew of guys. AAMCO quoted me more than $1,000 more for rebuild with warranty. Acquired a used OEM low mileage transmission from KB's salvage yard and had it installed at Shipyard location. Todd and the guys took care of my transmission swap promptly. Saw me quickly for an adjustment and have been off and riding again 1,000+ miles.

A pre-sale inspection done last week has put my mind at ease. It was well worth the $80 and this shop can count on seeing me again.
