Owner Lenny Petrone heads the team of ASE Master Technicians, with over 45 years of experience. We are enthusiastic about what we do and take a personal interest in our customers' cars.

We also offer Loaner Cars and local shuttle service!

  • I received such excellent and professional care from this business-would highly recommend! Very professional and friendly environment. Needed a repair to my vehicle and being new to southern Rhode Island, I had not found a new mechanic yet. Everywhere locally I called was booked until next week and I called International Motors on a recommendation. They got me in the next morning and provided me with a FREE, clean and reliable loner car! I was ready to walk to work! My car repair was easy, swift and affordable.     They were prompt, kind, knowledgeable and eager to help in every way possible, including helping me plan for my future oil change and brake lights. They take a holistic approach and are always looking out for the customer. They are excellent!

    I brought my vehicle in for service because of a check engine light and a specific problem I noticed going on with the car. I was told my turbo was damaged and radiator was leaking and both needed to be replaced, I was told both would be covered under warranty. Upon picking up my car 3 weeks later they told me there was some “spill over” and I had to pay over $700 which I was not told about anytime before, even after asking what the cost was going to be multiple times and being told it was all covered under warranty. The problem I was having with the car was not fixed and the radiator was not replaced. I asked why the radiator was not replaced and was told “oh I meant to call you about that, warranty wouldn’t cover it”. I still have a leaking radiator and my car isn’t fixed.

    I went to International upon recommendation of my local regular repairman who was booked so heavily, I wouldn't be able to get in in a reasonable time. International was able to accommodate me in fairly short order.

    My problem was a corroded lock cylinder. I'd put the key in, and it wouldn't turn, or it wouldn't come out. Not a DIY'er. They had to order a breathtakingly expensive part from BMW, but no surprises there.

    I was able to bring the car in in short order, and it was delivered exactly when promised. Peter, the fellow I dealt with was polite and very BMW savvy. When Gunther (the car's name) was delivered to me, he was nicely cleaned up. When he was on the lift, Peter identified some body issues that I knew about, but I appreciated that he picked them up and informed me. So Gunther is back home, and I will get a second mortgage on my house so I can take care of his body rust. Thank you, New England roads in winter.

    Carl is an excellent representative of IMG. Carl explains in detail the work that is needed and why. He will do his best to keep cost low. Peter deserves kudos as well.

    As always, today's service was done quickly and well done. This is the 3rd vehicle that IMG has serviced for me. The work is always excellent and the staff is always extremely courteous and helpful.
