This place is great. I have taken my car here for major and minor repairs and never been disappointed. The work is excellent and the price is fair. I stopped by once needing help with a cell phone stuck in the seat, and the mechanic stopped what he was doing so he could help. Go elsewhere if you want to pay hundreds more for a fancy waiting area, but just go here and bring your laptop and get work done.

I have been taking my many (4) BMW's to Brian at MM for quite a few years - 99 M Roadster, 88 M6, 91 525i; and I have always been extremely happy with their work and with their price. Very friendly and BMW knowledgeable. I have heartily recommended Milwaukee Motorwerks to my German car pals and I would do so for anyone in the Waukesha area.

This place is a GEM! I have owned 5 BMWs over the last 15 years, have gone to many shops, Brian and his crew love BMWs, have the knowledge and equipment of the dealers yet charge a very fair rate. I have been treated like friends and family here, free advice on the phone any time, no charge to reset my airbag light, even bringing my own parts! Very few shops will allow you to do that (of course if my part fails its on me). They also don't gouge you on parts. I now go nowhere else. I can't say enough about this place. If you can't or don't want fix it yourself, this is the place to go.

Awesome shop. They have done both repair services (waterpump/thermostat) and upgrade services (BMW performance exhaust, body work) for my BMW and it has all turned out great. Everyone there is very knowledgeable, especially Brian.

Service is good, prices are fair. Worth going here over the dealership or any other independent shops for your German cars!

Will definitely be going here again for any future services/repairs.

Really good experience on my first visit. Nice and knowledgeable staff. Now I have piece of mind that they will take care of my car if needed. Inspected my car for any services that is needed and gave me reasonable quotes and time. Replaced and registered battery in car while I was waiting in the shop.

Brian - you rock. Took my 318ti in for a coolant leak at 1pm, he had the manifold off and back on again, leak fixed by 5pm. Wish I would've found about him sooner! Lucky for him my car is fairly unreliable.

Diagnosed and fixed a coolant leak. Needed a new reservoir replaced. Price was reasonable and I didn't need to use my warranty which was completely opposite at International BMW.

Also had new better battery installed and programmed for less than BMW was charging as well as an Oil change. These guys were quick and painless and very helpful.

Small leak was noticed after my recent repairs to eliminate oil leaks. I brought my car in after reading the mostly positive reviews on the web site. Mind you, I live in Raleigh, NC and was here on vacation, so there was no calling my regular mechanic! The guys at Milwaukee Motor Motorwerks were friendly and they allowed me to observe as the X3 was lifted for inspection to find the source of the leak. After diagnosis of a faulty coolant hose, the guys ordered the hose and scheduled appointment for the next day. When I arrived the following day, Brian discovered two other hoses that were bulging and recommended those be replaced at the same time. Of course this meant ordering the hoses and rescheduling. Brian assured me the work would be given a high priority and my car would be the first in line the next morning.

I am glad that I took the advice of getting all three hoses replaced, I was driving home in a couple days and did not want to be stranded! The work was completed as promised and I felt the price and service was very fair indeed!

    I highly recommend Milwaukee Motorwerks!

Very impressed. Oil change done in 15 min!!!!! For a fraction of the price!!!! And done with Fuch's oil?!?!? At this point, you'd be foolish to take your BMW anywhere else except Brian and Milwaukee Motorwerks.

I recenlty had my Z4 air conditioner recharged and thought I would take a chance on Milwaukee Motorwerks to see when I could get in for the service. The young man at the counter told me he'll take a look now and pulled the car in as I was standing there. He returned from the shop area shortly and told me it needed about a pound of refrigerant and that he would also put in some dye to see if there were any slow leaks. Within 15-20 minutes my car was done and the air ice cold. The price was more than reasonable and I suspect about a fith of what the dealer would have charged. Not only was the young man pleasant and friendly but insured that the problem was taken care of timely. This was by far the best experience I have had for a car repair, bar none. I will be back for whatever service I need in the future. Give them a shot and I hope your experience will be as good as mine.

    A Little Disappointed.

In searching for a new shop, I came across Milwaukee Motorwerks through this website and after reading the reviews thought I would give them a try. I typically perfom all of my vehicle repairs myself, but due to a busy schedule decided to take it in. I took my car in for an overhaul of the coolant system and was disappointed by the final result. After picking up my car and openeing the door, I immediatly noticed there was mud all over the floor mat, door sil and hood release. Then when I started the car, the instrument cluster displayed "check side lights." Now upset, I drove the car home where I could inspect it closer. Upon poping the hood, I noticed there were splashes of antifreeze and after looking under the car I noticed the under body pan was not fully secured.

It is these small attentions to detail which make a service providor successful and was disapointed to have my car retuned to me in a condition different from how it was dropped off. After paying more that $1100 for the repair, the least they could have done was cleaned off the mud they put in the car and wiped off the antifreeze they spilled. Also, I did not have the "check lights" code when I dropped it off, so now I will have to diagnose that issue myself. As they say, Sometimes its worth paying a little bit more to know your car whill be properly taken car of, when you dont have the time to do it yourself.

Hey Jeremy! I feel terrible about the small mess left in the car after the repairs! Im not certain if the "check lights" are related to anything we had performed or not but I really wish you had called me to alert of any issues you may have so I can quickly smooth them over. Ill still do so in fact, please take your car to my local detail shop "Artistic" and have them give you a full detail service including shampooing, buffing, waxing and engine bay steaming and ill pay for it no questions asked! Ill also send you an email with their information and location. thanks!

Milwaukee motorwerks is seriously the best... Heard about them on bimmerforums or e46fanatics, everyone had nothing but good things to say about the place. I've been bringing my car there ever since I first got it and had some cliche angel eyes installed, I've had my control arm bushings replaced, new wheels and tires fitted, the standard cooling system overhaul, throttle body replaced, electrical issues, etc... every single time it has been taken care of fast and with quality and care, plus the rates are an absolute steal compared to anything else, especially a dealership. Their service is awesome, I've had times when I've emailed Brian at like 11:30 at night when something unexpected came up and he responded within like half an hour telling me what he thought it might be and helped me set up a time to get it checked out. I don't usually go far out of my way to give positive praise for something but seriously, Brian and the rest of his crew at Milwaukee are awesome. From what I've seen they seem to be getting a lot of business which I think is awesome cause I hope they are around for a long time. Plus there is always eye candy in the parking lot if you're a european car fan, comfy leather couches and Top Gear playing in the waiting area. What's not to like? I'm always skeptical when I see super rave reviews of something online, thinking it's just a plant or something like that, but trust me this is legit. I even got to know a couple of my neighbors at my apartment complex cause they had just recently purchased BMWs and I made sure to refer them to Milwaukee Motorwerks.

Anyways, if you have a BMW or other Euro and you have work done somewhere other than Milwaukee, you're an idiot. Seriously.

I can honestly say I have never had a better auto repair experience in thirty years. Brian gave me his immediate attention, solved my problem thoroughly and did so at a cost I could not believe (on the happy side). I was genuinely impressed. These guys won my business and I'll be telling anyone with a european car to check them out.

    Well Done!

My E36 had a clutch issue manifesting as a squealing noise and worried owner! Craig kindly squeezed me into his very busy afternoon to confirm the problem right away. He also pointed out a broken fan blade and cracked tensioner on the serpentine belt. My car was fixed quicky and professionally with good attention to detail. They've earned another loyal customer.

    Thanks a lot guys!

I really appreciate the entire staff at Milwaukee Motorwerks. I always receive great service from them when I visit. I have a BMW X5 that needed a few upgrades and the entire staff gave me good advice on rims and even installed new side rails for a reasonable price. They were knowledgeable and helpful with all my needs. I will most definitely refer them to a friend, and return if I need any service done on my truck.

    Thanks Guys!
