  Nothing but praise for this company! It's refreshing to have qualified BMW service in Anniston. If I had to depend on the dealership in Birmingham I'd probably be driving an American car....Seriously Danny and John provide honest, quality service.

  I've never had a bad experience at Southern Star....

  Not having any bmw around my area i took my car to different mechanics, but most of them left my car worst than what already was, after i took my car to southern star my car rides great, the people take the time to explain everything and do the job right.

  I am looking at a 2006 325i. After reading numerous reviews and comments about how expensive these cars are to service and maintain, I called Southern Star to ask a few questions about this model and typical problems with it. The young man I spoke with was very professional and helpful. He spent several minutes answering my questions and offered some good advice. I really appreciated him taking the time to talk to me. If I buy this car I will certainly use Southern Star.

  I will echo Mr. Coleman's comments 10 fold. They worked on a VW Quantam I had back in 1985. The deal had already looked at it 5 or 6 times (Hodges Motors) and said they could not find what was wrong with the car. Well, it took but one trip to Southern Star, and as soon as the car was cranked, the owner immediately said, "you have a cracked manifold." That took almost 15 seconds, and without any diagnostic tools!! In short, they are simply great!! I will NOT take my cars any place else!!

  I have been dealing with Southern Star Motors since they opened in the early 1980s. If you want to pay alot of money and wonder what is still wrong with your car, take it to the dealer! If you want it FIXED and fixed right, take it to Southern Star! They will tell you if you have a problem, what it will take to fix it and they will stick to that estimate. This is a shop owned and operated by people who love cars. Period! They are interested in seeing you back on the road, not in gouging you for all they can. If you are in need of a part, they will help you find it. They get to know their customers and work to accomodate any problems that they have. I give Southern Star all the stars that will fit in the box.
