Took my M5 to Escondido German Auto Center for a new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and associated bits. Even though they were cheaper than their competitors, the level of service and quality of work was outstanding. Took my BMW back for them to bleed the brakes when I botched it after a complete brake replacement that I did. I'll be taking it back there for anything I can't do myself.

I took my '04 E60 to Derek and Dusty one day and was expecting all the typical scamming mechanics do by adding services that is not needed, but Derek and Dusty did exceptional work. I showed up to the shop one day without an appointment and Derek came out to my car with a computer and plugged it right in telling me every thing that is needed to be done. I didn't have enough money for the repairs at the time, but he had me come in when ever I was ready. I wasn't pressured into getting anything done. I eventually got the service I needed and they did everything right in a timely manner. Escondido German Auto Center is the only shop that I will allow to work on my E60.
