Boston Motor Werks LLC is a creation of the partnership and vision of Robert Hanna and Audwin Alvarez. Having both served time at a BMW dealership for a combined 12 years and having worked at several independent shops before that, Rob and Audwin envisioned a shop that specialized strictly in BMW service and repair at the dealer-level but without the dealer-level pricing. Having both achieved master-level status as certified BMW technicians, these gentleman have worked on everything BMW offered from the early 80s all the way up to current 2011 model vehicles.

Serving the Belmont/Watertown/Cambridge area, Boston Motor Werks is open from 8-5pm Monday through Friday providing 3 service bays and equal and sometimes better services than the dealer can provide.

Boston Motor Werks has made heavy investment in BMW special tools and high-level modern automotive machinery provides fast, precise and efficient service and repair to customer vehicles at very competitive rates.

The entire experience at Boston Motor Werks is dedicated to providing the most friendly, smooth, and trustworthy experience for the customer while providing the highest level of dedication and workmanship to each customer's vehicle.

Being a partnership with no current employees, Boston Motor Werks can keep its overhead low and thus pass the savings on to the customer. We use dealer parts for all our repairs, and will only substitute dealer parts with high quality tried-and-tested industry names that are equivalent or surpass OE standard (Bilstein, H&R, Supersprint, etc). We look forward to seeing you and your beautiful Bavarian machine for a great service experience.

Rob Hanna worked on this classic, the family 1988 M5 at 135,000 miles, and for the subsequent 6,000 miles, it's been running as good as new.

The family decided that the 1988 M5 is a keeper, but a restoration effort was needed. I took the car to a local specialist first, but he declined to take the car back to rectify certain serious issues that wasn't performed correctly the first time. Rob corrected these problems, and took over the remainder of approximately 75% of the restoration.

Rob also services the family 2003 M5, he'd done all of the maintenance work to my total satisfaction.

I recommend Rob Hanna of Boston Motor Werks to all BMW enthusiasts: we drive the best, and he'll maintain our BMW's so that we can continue to enjoy the very BEST!

Rob and co. do fantastic work, and I've always left knowing my cars have been taken care of. Before any work is done he takes photos of all problem areas, explains everything in detail and sends you a full estimate email for your records. Once the work is done (always timely), he goes out of his way to make sure you feel comfortable with the work that was done, reminding you of their guarantee. He always recommends the OEM parts, and is cognizant of telling you when repair is needed if there are a bunch of things wrong. Highly recommended!
