Dave began his career in 1995 as an entry level technician while attending Brookdale Community College's automotive technology program. During that time, he invested every free moment into learning about the newer automotive technology and attending independent training classes to become a master technician.
He holds an advanced (L1) ASE Master Technician certificate and is the "go to" guy with all diagnostic troubleshooting.
Dave purchased Autobahn Automotive in 2002 and has been keeping his high level of automotive repair as his code of ethics. He has worked in many shops where unqualified technicians are "learning" on jobs they simply aren't qualified to perform. That is not the case here. The technicians he employs are the very best and are second to none.
He is a TDI (diesel) specialist and has performed multiple newer Volkswagen drivetrain swaps into non German cars. His hobby consists of the Pontiac Fiero, a cult car from the 1980's. Also, craft beers and spending weekends with his family.

What a great surprise finding Dave and Autobahn Automotive. Went to dealer with trouble concerning 4x4 error message on my all wheel drive. After declining the repair which they wanted to charge me $3700 to replace the transfer case I found Autobahn. Dave was great to deal with and saved me a few thousand dollars on the repair since the so called " transfer case " replacement was not needed. Car is running great and he now has another future customer! I highly recommend Autobahn Automotive and wish I found him sooner.
