  • Jim & Katie Paiva


    Jim Paiva has serviced automobiles since 1980, went into business in 1998, with his wife Katie, Jim performed all repairs, answered the phones, ordered all the parts, and worked until late hours of the night to get the business up and running. Katie also worked as many hours, washing cars, answering phones, office duties such as accounts payable, receivable, thank you notes, and marketing - doing all this while pregnant with our third child. Today we have 5 certified technicians, two service advisers, and one customer relations person. We built an impeccable reputation to customer service, one that focuses one honesty, quality, all delivered at a fair price.

  • I brought my BMW 330ci here to get the starter replaced. I usually do my own work, but my schedule didn't allow it this time around (weddings, work, family visiting). I found Elite Auto on bimmershops.com and read a few reviews before I made up my mind. I'm glad I brought it there. The service was quick and efficient. I dropped the car off before heading out to work and picked it up right after EOD. Of course, they are a little pricey, but it's expected since they specialize in luxury/imports. They even have free WIFI if you want to Facebook while you wait. Highly recommended.

  • I called for a question on getting a car inspected in a case where the registration had expired. The person who answered the phone was friendly and spent 10 minutes giving me the answers on what I should do and how to get the registration quickly. He showed me that they are really committed to customer service and we will become a customer. I am very impressed.

  • A few weeks I had taken my car to a tire place for an oil change and tire rotation. They (the other place) told me I needed an inspection and that my car would not pass unless I had my brakes done. They estimated over $300. Based on the reviews here, I took my car to Elite to have the brakes done( They estimated $265). They could have done them and I'd have been the wiser, but they called me and asked who had told me I needed brakes. They said mine were fine. They tightened a couple of things and took the car for inspection. The whole thing cost $59 (including the inspection) They even drove me home and picked me up. I'll surely use these guys again (and NOT the tire place).

    I brought my BMW to Elite Auto in Warwick, R.I. to repair an oil leak, and to replace the power steering pump. The "courtesy vehicle " that picked me up was an old hybrid that had the battery replaced and wreaked of a toxic chemical odor that made me nauseous for the short time I was in the car.

    The repair cost was high, and there was no discernable explanation for the cost other than the bottom line number. The manager called someone else and was apparently wiling to give my car away for $900. The person he called told him it wasn't his car, but he insisted it was.

    The whole repair job seemed to be rushed. When I picked up my car it wouldn't start.

    I was told the bushings on the control arms needed replacement, yet he wouldn't replace the bushings without replacing both control arms for an additional $2,300.00. The oil had been replaced 100 miles earlier, yet he tried to sell me a complete oil change. I also own a 2014 BMW 550i M sport, and I will never take either of my BMW ' s to Elite Auto again.

    Elite Auto Repair has been servicing my wife's Lexus and my BMW for nearly 9 years. Not the same ones. The entire team there is the finest team of service people I have ever encountered. From just stepping the door to dropping by unannounced on a weekend with a minor problem, they are always ready willing and more than capable to assist.

    Going anywhere else for service would not be a good idea!
