The place is great!

My 2001 BMW 325i only has 82K miles on it, and through its life, I had only taken it to the dealer for service. Unfortunately, Arlington BMW Service relocated far from where I live (Ballston), they are not even remotely convenient. I brought my BMW to Specialty Services (SS) in Sept '12, to fix a window that had fallen down, and check on a headlight that occasionally would go off. This was the 1st time not going to the dealer, and will go to this place forever now! I dropped my car off on a Thursday evening, for an appointment the next Tuesday. I had to drop it off earlier b/c I was going on a trip on that Saturday, through the next Friday. Apparently SS had a cancellation, and was able to fix my car that Friday, and I picked it up that Friday evening.

One of the best things about SS is they also found & repaired something that the dealer couldn't find on my last service (Sept 2011) - rubbing coming from my back-right wheel. On my Sept '11 visit to the dealer, I told them about the rubbing, and when picking up my car, they wrote "could not replicate problem" (likely b/c they were too busy trying to upsell me other expensive services that I didn't not need lol - lol, but I mean it). When dropping off my car last month to SS, I forgot to tell them about the rubbing. After they fixed my car, they took it on a test, and called me to say they heard rubbing - and fixed that too within a few hrs! ... that was too cool, b/c I'd even forgotten about that.

Additionally, when I went to pick up my car, and was leaving the place, the mechanic (who took my order the day before, but did not cash me out that day) was working on a car, turned a waved to me and said "have a safe trip" - that was the best, that he remembered me from the day before, and took 2 seconds to say what's up! Great Service, and even Greater Customer Service!
